I am kind of a butthead and have really high expectations and my poor husband is usually the victim of them.  I feel like a crazy lady sometimes and he just puts up with me.  That right there deserves a metal, in and of itself, but then he does it with such patience and always keeps trying on top of that.  I don't deserve the love he gives me and the patience that he has, but I am so grateful for it!

Luckiest Girl Ever!

I am the luckiest girl on the planet.  My hubby spoils me every single day and I'm so blessed to have him.  This Christmas he bought me Step Up 3 (chick flick even though he doesn't love them), he made me a photo book on ShuttrFly, AND he bought me a brand new awesome laptop!  And besides all the awesome gifts he has been taking care of me for the past week and a half while I've been sick.  I sure do love my +Brad Withers and am so grateful to call him my own!  Thanks for always being so perfect baby!

08/2012

-Brad is so close to a firefighting job and he's being so positive and optimistic.  I'm  always impressed with his drive and motivation.
-He is so worthy of his priesthood and ready to give a blessing at any time.  He listens to the spirit and isn't afraid to follow his promptings.
-I love how athletic he is.  We are still involved in enough things to keep us active and have fun at the same time.

July and August 2012.

My husband is really the best man ever.  He is so good to me.  He is so good to everyone around him.  He's just perfect.  Brad has been working so hard at a job he hates for about 18 months now.  Even though he doesn't ever want to be there he shows up every day and works hard.  He really deserves a new job and it's so hard to see his self esteem go down the longer time goes on.  However, he is still such a trooper.  He wants to be a firefighter more than anything (well almost) and he is doing whatever it takes to get there.  I'm so proud of him!  So let's just review a very few of the reasons he's so great.

-He is such a sweetheart...I know that most men aren't proud of this, but my hubby has such a soft spot for me and isn't afraid to show me every day how much he really loves me.
-Brad is the hardest worker I know...and apparently that other people know too because people tell me how impressed they are with him all the time.  Talk about proud wifey!
-Even though I am a big huge pain and super grumpy lately, my husband still finds time to make me feel like I'm a princess.  I wish he wouldn't let me be such a jerk all the time, but he just takes what I say in stride and doesn't get mad at me when I'm being irrational.
-He has such a strong testimony.  Even with everything going on in our life and all the disappointment, he still stands by his convictions and has such a good attitude about everything.  He never throws in the towel or stops working hard at his calling, but just prays harder and harder.
-Brad truly is the one for me.  I know a lot of people don't believe in that, and I didn't used to either, but he is so perfect for me.  He's everything that I'm not and so much more than I could ever ask for.  I'm sure I could've married someone else, but no one would make me as happy and fit me as well as he does.

So in conclusion, a big fat THANK YOU to my wonderful man.  I don't write as often as I should, but he has been so awesome this whole summer and done more things for me than I could make into a list, but just know that he is amazing and I'm super blessed to have him!

2012!

I feel like I haven't written all year :(  I'm terrible.  Especially because Brad has been working his guts out.  He has been in the Fire Academy since March, been Young Men's president in our ward since a few weeks before that, and is still working a full time job, with overtime at least one or two days a month!  I am telling you, I don't know how he is doing it.  He is such a champion!  And to top that all off, he still comes home and gives me a big hug and a kiss every day.  What did I do to get so lucky?  I couldn't even complete a list of all the things he's done for us these past few months, but I am so grateful for him.  I'm so grateful to be married to such a hard working, dedicated, driven, responsible man!  He is truly the best man I know and I'm the most blessed woman to have him :)

Too Long.

So it's been WAY too long...again.  But I have so much to write and so little time.  Valentine's day was so freakin' awesome.  Brad completely and totally surprised me.  We weren't going to celebrate on actual Valentine's Day, but he totally tricked me.  He sent me flowers and lingerie at work, and then had more lingerie and surprises for me at home on the rose pedal covered stairs down to our apartment where he was waiting for me.  We made dinner together and just had an all over fantastic night!  I'm such a lucky girl.  He is the best husband ever.
Lately I've just been crazy stressed and overwhelmed and he is just as wonderful as ever.  He never gets on my case, never gets impatient with me, and is always there to cheer me on.  Plus, he has been busy himself and that still doesn't change anything.  He recently got called to be the young men's president in our ward and I'm so proud of him.  On top of that he is going to fire school so he has no time to breathe, but still makes time for me!  I am so blessed to have him in my life and I couldn't ask for anyone better.

14 Days of Valentine's Vol.1
This year I want to do like a "14 Days of Valentine's" for Brad.  Do you ever just feel so grateful for your spouse and you feel like there's nothing you could really do to show them how much you really love them?  Well hopefully this will at least come close to showing him.  Today I'm giving him a "Heart Attack".  Let's just say, hearts all over :)  Hopefully he's surprised and hopefully he likes it.  Here's some examples of what the hearts will say/reasons why I love him.
-His freckly lips.
-He makes me laugh.
-He is my best friend.
-Always ready with a hug when I get home from work.
-Best listener I know.
-Everything I want :)
