Waaaaay Too Long!

This blog sure makes it seem like Brad is not as awesome as he really is...the truth is that I am not so awesome and need to be better about keeping up with it. Here are just a few seemingly small things that go leaps and bounds in making my life happier and sweeter from my Bradley:
He started tapping his toothbrush on the side of the sink instead of shaking it, so that the toothbrush holder doesn't get all gucky.
He thanked me the other day when I actually made the bed and told me how great it looked, even though he doesn't really care about the bed being made.
He works so many hours so that I can have the new floors and home renovations and fertility treatments that I want.
He kicked major butt on our floors in the loft and hallways upstairs and they are beautiful!
He is diligently taking his vitamins to take better care of his body, and he's drinking less soda and working out like a pro, all to help possibly up his quality sperm count...not to mention he was willing to have surgery to fix things and didn't even bat an eye when it was brought up, he just asked when and where.
He is so humble and so sweet.
He always makes sure I get public displays of flowers on Valentine's Day :)
He calls me every night before bed when he is away.
He has gotten really great about cleaning up after himself and not making me do it very often. I feel like these days he cleans up after me almost more ;)
Even though he has gotten more discouraged and had more bad news in the past few months than ever before in his life, he still keeps such a positive attitude.
He is just all around a great guy who never ever lets me doubt that he is head over heels in love with me and wants me to be happy.

I am so blessed to call him my own :)

He Passed!

Brad passed the UFA fire test again :)  This time they only took 120 people instead of 220 and almost no one else he knows has passed.  We have a really good feeling about this testing round, but we will see what happens.  I am just proud of the man he is and the patience he has...after all, he's married to me, he has to have that ;)  He's just wonderful and deserves so much and I want this for him more than I want most things in life.  Way to be, you can do this, honey!

Driven.

I don't know many people who are as driven and motivated as my husband.  He will not give up on his dreams.  He does not stop trying.  He has never ending faith.  He is going to get where he wants to go and take our family with him.  I love him to the ends of eternity and back.  No matter what.

I am kind of a butthead and have really high expectations and my poor husband is usually the victim of them.  I feel like a crazy lady sometimes and he just puts up with me.  That right there deserves a metal, in and of itself, but then he does it with such patience and always keeps trying on top of that.  I don't deserve the love he gives me and the patience that he has, but I am so grateful for it!

Luckiest Girl Ever!

I am the luckiest girl on the planet.  My hubby spoils me every single day and I'm so blessed to have him.  This Christmas he bought me Step Up 3 (chick flick even though he doesn't love them), he made me a photo book on ShuttrFly, AND he bought me a brand new awesome laptop!  And besides all the awesome gifts he has been taking care of me for the past week and a half while I've been sick.  I sure do love my +Brad Withers and am so grateful to call him my own!  Thanks for always being so perfect baby!

-Brad is so close to a firefighting job and he's being so positive and optimistic.  I'm  always impressed with his drive and motivation.
-He is so worthy of his priesthood and ready to give a blessing at any time.  He listens to the spirit and isn't afraid to follow his promptings.
-I love how athletic he is.  We are still involved in enough things to keep us active and have fun at the same time.

July and August 2012.

My husband is really the best man ever.  He is so good to me.  He is so good to everyone around him.  He's just perfect.  Brad has been working so hard at a job he hates for about 18 months now.  Even though he doesn't ever want to be there he shows up every day and works hard.  He really deserves a new job and it's so hard to see his self esteem go down the longer time goes on.  However, he is still such a trooper.  He wants to be a firefighter more than anything (well almost) and he is doing whatever it takes to get there.  I'm so proud of him!  So let's just review a very few of the reasons he's so great.

-He is such a sweetheart...I know that most men aren't proud of this, but my hubby has such a soft spot for me and isn't afraid to show me every day how much he really loves me.
-Brad is the hardest worker I know...and apparently that other people know too because people tell me how impressed they are with him all the time.  Talk about proud wifey!
-Even though I am a big huge pain and super grumpy lately, my husband still finds time to make me feel like I'm a princess.  I wish he wouldn't let me be such a jerk all the time, but he just takes what I say in stride and doesn't get mad at me when I'm being irrational.
-He has such a strong testimony.  Even with everything going on in our life and all the disappointment, he still stands by his convictions and has such a good attitude about everything.  He never throws in the towel or stops working hard at his calling, but just prays harder and harder.
-Brad truly is the one for me.  I know a lot of people don't believe in that, and I didn't used to either, but he is so perfect for me.  He's everything that I'm not and so much more than I could ever ask for.  I'm sure I could've married someone else, but no one would make me as happy and fit me as well as he does.

So in conclusion, a big fat THANK YOU to my wonderful man.  I don't write as often as I should, but he has been so awesome this whole summer and done more things for me than I could make into a list, but just know that he is amazing and I'm super blessed to have him!
